TAIGA TAKAHASHI NEWSBOY BAG BLACK

캘리포니아에서 발견한 1930년대 신문배달 소년들이 사용하던 뉴스보이 백을 모티브로 하였다. 어깨의 부담을 줄여주는 넓은 숄더 핸들과 여유로운 폭은 당시의 구조를 그대로 따랐으며, 숄더 핸들의 길이를 짧게 조정하여 바디백 형태로 재구성하였다. 숄더 핸들의 스티치는 일부러 간격을 불규칙하게 넣어, 빈티지 특유의 투박한 분위기를 표현하였다. 오래된 뉴스보이 백에서 볼 수 있는 리벳 고정 디테일과 봉제 사양도 충실히 재현하였다. 워싱 가공을 더한 빈티지풍 캔버스 소재와 철제 부속을 사용하였다. 철제 부속의 특성상, 시간의 경과에 따라 녹슬거나 노화가 진행될 수 있다.

カリフォルニアで発見された1930年代の新聞配達少年が使用していたニュースボーイバッグをモチーフにしている。肩への負担を軽減する幅広のショルダーハンドルとゆとりのある幅は当時の構造をそのまま再現し、ショルダーハンドルの長さを短く調整してボディバッグのように再構成した。ショルダーハンドルのステッチはあえて不規則な間隔で入れ、ヴィンテージ特有の素朴な雰囲気を表現している。古いニュースボーイバッグに見られるリベット固定ディテールや縫製仕様も忠実に再現した。ウォッシュ加工を施したヴィンテージ調キャンバス素材と鉄製パーツを使用している。鉄製パーツの特性上、時間の経過とともに錆びや経年変化が生じる場合がある。

This piece is inspired by a 1930s newsboy bag once used by newspaper delivery boys in California. The wide shoulder handle, designed to reduce shoulder strain, and the generous width faithfully follow the original structure of the time, while the handle length has been shortened to reinterpret it as a body bag. The shoulder stitching is intentionally irregular to convey the rugged charm characteristic of vintage items. Riveted details and sewing specifications found on old newsboy bags have been faithfully reproduced. Made from vintage-washed canvas and fitted with iron hardware, the bag will naturally age over time—rusting or darkening as part of its material character.
