Seungpyeongyo is a kiln in Gyeongju run by artist Lee Si-hyeong, dedicated solely to traditional wood-firing techniques. Rejecting the convenience of electric or gas kilns, it embraces unpredictability, valuing chance and depth born from fire and clay. Each work carries the unique marks of time, place, and the kiln’s living spirit.
