뉴욕에서 발견된 1930년대 미국산 레더 재킷을 베이스로 한 디자인입니다. 앞으로 자연스럽게 기울어진 소매와 암홀 등, 아직 말이 주요 이동 수단이었던 시대의 흔적을 느낄 수 있는 아름다운 실루엣을 담고 있습니다. 가죽은 피트 태닝 방식으로 무두질한 말가죽 누메 가죽을 사용했습니다. 피트 태닝은 식물성 수지 탄닌이 담긴 큰 수조에 오랜 시간 가죽을 담가 두는 전통적인 무두질 방식으로, 담가 두는 기간만 약 한 달이 걸릴 정도로 시간과 정성이 필요한 공정입니다. 일본에서도 이를 시행하는 곳은 몇 곳에 불과합니다. 차심(茶芯) 말가죽을 사용했기 때문에 착용할수록 표면이 닳으며 갈색이 드러나고, 시간이 지날수록 독특한 에이징을 즐길 수 있습니다. 아르데코 스타일의 각인이 들어간 부채 모양 지퍼와 베이크라이트 버튼 등 오리지널 파츠를 사용했습니다. 소재의 특성상 색 빠짐이나 이염이 발생할 수 있습니다.

ニューヨークで見つけたアメリカ製で1930年代のレザージャケットをベースにデザイン。前に振った袖やアームホールなど、まだ馬に乗っていた時代の名残を感じさせる美しいシルエットを取り入れている。馬革はピット鞣しをしたヌメ革を使用。ピット鞣しとは植物の樹脂タンニンが入った槽に長時間漬け込む鞣しの方法で、漬け込む期間だけでも約1カ月を要する、時間と手間をかけて仕上げる製法の一つである。日本でもこの工程を行うタンナーは数社に限られている。茶芯の馬革を使用しているため、着込むほどに茶色く革の色が落ち、独特の経年変化を楽しむことができる。アールデコ調の刻印が入った扇型のジッパーやベークライトボタンなど、オリジナルパーツを使用している。素材の特性上、色落ちや色移りすることがあります。

This design is based on a 1930s American leather jacket discovered in New York. It incorporates a beautiful silhouette that reflects an era when horseback riding was still common, with forward-angled sleeves and armholes that hint at its equestrian heritage. The leather used is horsehide vegetable-tanned through a pit tanning process. Pit tanning involves immersing the leather for an extended period in vats containing natural plant-based tannins, a traditional method that requires significant time and craftsmanship. The soaking process alone takes about one month, and only a few tanneries in Japan still practice this technique. The jacket uses brown-core horsehide, allowing the underlying brown tone to gradually emerge with wear, creating a distinctive aging process over time. Original parts are used throughout, including a fan-shaped zipper with Art Deco-style engraving and Bakelite buttons. Due to the characteristics of the material, color fading or transfer may occur.
