TAIGA TAKAHASHI LOT.719 U.S. ARMY M-35 DENIM PANTS INDIGO

CCC(Civilian Conservation Corps)의 데님 팬츠는 1908년에 개발된 미 육군 해안포병대(Army Coast Artillery Corps)의 팬츠를 기원으로 하여 이후 업데이트된 모델입니다. 풀오버와 마찬가지로 이 팬츠 역시 1919년에 “SPEC6-124”라는 규격으로 등록되었으며, 이후 패턴에 소폭의 수정이 더해진 뒤 1933년에 “SPEC6-124A”로 다시 등록되었습니다. 전면과 후면에 배치된 커다란 패치 포켓이 이 디자인의 대표적인 특징입니다. 당시 지급되던 의복의 사이즈는 비교적 대략적인 기준으로 제작되었기 때문에 허리는 신치백으로 조절할 수 있는 구조였습니다. 스티치에는 흰 실이 주로 사용되었지만 회색 실이 사용된 사례도 확인되어, Lot.719의 디자인에도 그 디테일을 반영했습니다. 원단은 당시의 데님 원단을 분석해 새롭게 개발한 오리지널 데님을 사용했습니다. 타카하시가 고안한 그린 캐스트 인디고로 염색한 경사와 약간 생성색을 띠는 위사를 사용해 당시의 색감을 계승하면서도, 실의 번수를 조정하고 타수를 높여 1/2 우능 조직으로 직조했습니다. 이는 일반적인 좌능 데님과는 다른 깊이 있는 표정을 만들어냅니다. 소재의 특성상 색 빠짐이나 이염이 발생할 수 있습니다. 가공 방식의 특성상 제품마다 가공감에 차이가 있을 수 있습니다. 또한 철 소재 부속을 사용했기 때문에 시간의 경과에 따라 녹이나 변색이 발생할 수 있습니다.

CCC（Civilian Conservation Corps）のデニムパンツは、1908年に開発された沿岸歩兵隊（Army Coast Artillery Corps）のパンツを起源とし、その後アップデートされたモデルである。プルオーバー同様、このパンツも1919年に「SPEC6-124」として登録され、その後パターンに微修正が加えられた後、1933年に「SPEC6-124A」として再登録された。フロントとバックに配された大きなパッチポケットが、このデザインの特徴のひとつである。当時支給されていたサイズ感はかなり大まかであったため、ウエストはシンチバックで調整する仕様となっていた。ステッチには白糸が多く使用されていたが、グレーの例も確認されており、Lot.719のデザインにもそれを反映している。生地については、当時のデニム生地を分析し、新たに開発したオリジナルデニム生地を使用している。髙橋が考案したグリーンキャストのインディゴ染めの経糸と、生成がかった緯糸を用い、色味を踏襲しつつ番手を調整し、打ち込み本数を増やすことで、1/2右綾組織による定番の左綾デニムとは異なる豊かな表情を持たせている。素材の特性上、色落ちや色移りすることがあります。加工の特性上、加工感に一点一点個体差がございます。鉄素材の付属品を使用しているため、時間経過により錆びや劣化がおこります。

The CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) denim trousers trace their origins to trousers developed in 1908 for the Army Coast Artillery Corps and were later updated into the design seen here. Like the pullover, these trousers were registered in 1919 under the specification “SPEC6-124.” After minor pattern revisions were made, they were re-registered in 1933 as “SPEC6-124A.” One of the defining features of the design is the large patch pockets placed on both the front and back. Because garment sizing at the time was relatively approximate, the waist was designed to be adjustable using a cinch-back. While white thread was commonly used for the stitching, examples using gray thread have also been found, and this detail is reflected in the design of Lot.719. The fabric is an original denim newly developed through analysis of vintage denim from the period. It uses warp yarn dyed with green-cast indigo conceived by Takahashi and slightly off-white weft yarns, maintaining the original color tone while adjusting yarn counts and increasing the density. Woven in a 1/2 right-hand twill, it creates a distinctive texture different from the more common left-hand twill denim. Due to the nature of the material, color fading or transfer may occur. Variations in finishing may occur between individual pieces. Because iron hardware is used, rusting or deterioration may occur over time.
