1920~1930년대의 특징적인 사양인 친 스트랩이 달린 커버올 재킷을 수많은 실물을 연구해 재구성한 모델입니다. 당시에는 의복 제작 방식 자체가 끊임없는 시행착오 속에서 발전하던 시기였으며, 오늘날에는 높은 난이도와 뛰어난 봉제 기술이 없으면 재현하기 어려운 디테일도 많습니다. 연구 대상이 된 희귀한 개체는 어깨선에서 소매산까지 한 번에 이어 봉제하는 패턴 구조로, 효율적이지만 고도의 봉제 기술을 요구하는 방식이었습니다. 또한 암홀의 곡선 역시 당시의 형태를 가능한 한 충실하게 재현했습니다. 원단은 린넨과 코튼을 사용해 옥스포드 조직으로 직조하여, 탄탄한 구조감과 부드러운 촉감을 동시에 갖춘 질감을 완성했습니다. IVORY는 원단을 천천히 주무르듯 세척해 마치 오래 세탁해 입은 빈티지 의류와 같은 자연스러운 표정을 표현했습니다. SUMI 컬러는 한 장 한 장 정성스럽게 염색해 동일한 것이 존재하지 않는, 고유한 풍합을 지닌 것이 특징입니다. 각인이 들어간 버튼과 버클은 철 소재로 금형부터 제작한 오리지널 부품을 사용했습니다. 도금 처리를 하지 않은 사양이기 때문에 시간이 지나며 녹이 생기고 자연스러운 에이징을 즐길 수 있습니다. 천연 염색의 특성상 색 빠짐이나 이염이 발생할 수 있으며, 가공 방식의 특성으로 인해 개체마다 가공감에 차이가 있습니다. 또한 철 소재 부속을 사용했기 때문에 시간의 경과에 따라 녹이나 변색이 발생할 수 있습니다.
1920〜1930年代の特徴的な仕様であるチンストラップ付きのカバーオールジャケットを、多くの個体を研究して再構築したモデル。衣服の製造方法そのものが試行錯誤されていた時代であり、現代では難易度が高く、優れた縫製技術がなければ再現できないディテールも多い。研究対象となった希少な個体は、肩線から袖山まで一気に縫い上げるパターン構造を持ち、効率的でありながら高度な縫製技術を必要とする作りであった。アームホールの曲線も当時の仕様を可能な限り再現している。生地にはリネンとコットンを使用し、オックス織りにすることでハリ感と柔らかさを兼ね備えた風合いを実現した。IVORYは生地をじっくりと揉み洗いすることで、洗いざらした古着のような自然な表情に仕上げている。SUMIは一枚一枚丁寧に染め上げられており、同じものが存在しない唯一無二の風合いが魅力である。刻印入りボタンとバックルは鉄素材で型から製作したオリジナルパーツを使用。未メッキ仕様のため、時間の経過とともに錆が生じ、経年変化を楽しむことができる。天然染色の特性上、色落ちや色移りが生じる場合がある。また加工の特性上、一点一点に個体差がある。鉄素材の付属品を使用しているため、時間経過により錆びや劣化がおこります。
This coverall jacket is reconstructed through extensive study of original garments featuring the distinctive chin strap specification commonly seen in the 1920s–1930s. During that era, garment construction was still evolving through trial and error, and many of the techniques used are difficult to reproduce today without highly advanced sewing skills. The rare reference piece studied featured a pattern construction where the seam runs continuously from the shoulder line to the sleeve crown—a method that is efficient yet demands exceptional sewing precision. The curved armhole construction is also recreated as faithfully as possible to the original form. The fabric is woven in an oxford structure using linen and cotton, creating a texture that balances both firmness and softness. The IVORY version is finished by gently kneading and washing the fabric, giving it the natural character of well-worn vintage garments. The SUMI version is individually dyed piece by piece, resulting in a unique texture where no two garments are exactly the same. The engraved buttons and buckle are original parts produced from iron molds. Because they are intentionally left unplated, they will naturally rust over time, allowing the wearer to enjoy the aging process. Due to the characteristics of natural dyeing, color fading or transfer may occur. Variations in finishing may also occur between individual pieces. As iron hardware is used, rusting or deterioration may occur over time.
